Founded in 1947 by Mal Maher Sr. and Joe Caplan after their service in World War II, Newark Caplan Sewing Machines quickly became an industry leader. The duo introduced and helped establish the Rex Sewing Machine brand, building a legacy of innovation, reliability, and family service that continues today.
Every used sewing machine is fully reconditioned, tested, and backed by a 2-year limited warranty—equal to that of a new machine. Each unit arrives fully assembled with a servo motor workstation, ready for immediate use.
