Maher and Caplan are the inventors of the Rex Machine. Together they formed Newark Caplan Sewing Machine which continues to serve upholstery shops, garment factories, tailor shops, and seamstresses. Through the years, we’ve expanded to form subsidiaries: NC Carpet Binding , Turf Sewing Machines, Sewing Sports, & Netting Machinery.
